Carla Fonts Hrncir

A Dallas native and design enthusiast, Carla Fonts Hrncir prides herself on seeing the beauty in every client’s home. “I want to make your home someplace that brings you joy, someplace you never want to leave”, Carla says when describing her ambitions taking on new projects. Carla pulls inspiration from her Cuban heritage as well as her many summers spent in Miami, Palm Beach and the Caribbean. When Carla founded Dunbar Road Design in 2016, she knew she wanted to bring these influences to Dallas. Her interiors speak for themselves, as they radiate her infectious personality through bright colors, eye catching pieces and gorgeously selected furnishings.

As senior designer at Dunbar Road Design, Margaret’s primary focus is the client. She selects interior finishes, furniture, lighting, and accessories for our design clients, as well as creates CAD renderings. Margaret is from Jackson, MS and attended the University of Alabama, graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Interior Design. She also studied interior design at the Santa Reparata International School of Art in Florence, Italy. Before joining Dunbar Road Design, Margaret was a design associate for the renowned Jan Showers. She also interned with multiple interior design firms- Collins interiors and Amy’s Interiors, in Dallas, TX, Ann Carter Inc in Jackson, MS, and Twenty Two Group in Miami, FL. Her skills include a depth of design, design technology knowledge, and an ability to pair that knowledge with each client’s personal style and taste.

Cristina Lyon

Upon earning her BBA degree from The College of Charleston while minoring in Spanish, Cristina returned to her hometown of Dallas.  When an opportunity was presented by Dunbar Road Design that would allow her to further utilize her creative talents along with her passion for design, she jumped at the chance. Through the good fortune of growing up in beautiful homes designed by her mother, travels throughout the US and abroad, and being immersed in the varied architectural styles and décor of historic Charleston and the surrounding Low Country region, Cristina has developed her own unique design palette that perfectly complements the talents of the other team members.  Dunbar Road not only embraces Cristina’s fresh eye for interior design but also her business acumen, work ethic and highly efficient organizational skills.

Anna Mazzocchi

Associate Designer

A graduate of Texas A&M University, Anna’s foray into the world of design came after starting her career in content marketing. Desiring more creativity in her day-to-day work, she leaned into her passion—interiors and decorating, starting at Serena & Lily as a Design Advisor. There, she first experienced taking a client’s ideas, tastes, and preferences to create beautiful designs to be enjoyed for years to come. A longtime admirer of Dunbar Road Design, Anna loves using pattern and color to design stunning, layered rooms that are special and unique. She especially loves the firm’s ability to bring any client’s vision to life, especially when it comes to furniture and art. Seeing that process to completion is so rewarding!
